Yeah, working like a dream now. I put the francis back on until I get a heavier duty mount for the added weight of the K40 coil antenna.

Here's my Cobra 200 GTL-DX and a few other things. There's a Wilson 1000 bolted through the roof. I actually just pulled everything to run other electronics.

VERY NICE & NEAT install !! Shame that you had to pull those ! I wish COBRA would bring those 150's and 200's back too !

Thanks alot Bubba! Yeah, I take a lot of time trying to get everything neat and tidy, plus I don't like wires showing so everything I install has wires running under panels, floor boards, etc.

I'm still using that setup, though. I only removed it temporarily to work on other things through and around the dash. Once I'm done with that other stuff, the radio you see here goes right back into the dash.

The radio is an okay radio. My old 148 was much better, but this 200 is okay. I don't really talk enough to warrant spending more on a better radio. I do listen all the time though.

Anyway thanks again for the kind comments!

Do some research... You'll find that MOST ppl that run 2 sticks, have one as show and 99.9999% of the time...the one that is purly cosmetic, is on the right side! By running duel sticks, your cutting your send and recieve in 1/2! My loaded coil is mounted on the drivers side (the only stick I have...who care about what it looks like) and I'm talking 12-18 miles on an average day, 8-10 on a bad day, 15-20+ with great conditions! Certainly not talking to a ditch! LOL
