Yea,minus the post trip, pre trip, getting my stuff out and back in the next truck, the drive home and back an hour each way...a bite to eat and a shower...not much sleeping time left..
I guess i need to find something with an assigned truck where i can get my 10 in the sleeper... -
They did use DAC-Hire Right so i know they will put something on there..
I don't mind running hard but when they put you in a slow truck and you have to hold it to the floor and not have time to stop for anything, that is BS!
I did not eat all day or have time to stop.
Good thing i took some water and a couple apples in my cooler.... -
tucking is had job.

Most mail contractors you see have really junky trucks. I'm always amazed at how the Postal Service gives contracts to just anyone who bids low. You would think the U.S. Mail needs to get there without trucks breaking down.
-
True...The trucks never stop. One driver gets out and another jumps in.
Kind of makes you wonder how they ever service them let alone wash them.
The trailers i pulled were so dirty it looked like years since they were washed.
I have always been picky about my truck being clean.
These trucks needed Lysol and a pressure sprayer on the inside...YUCK! -
awww rerun i'll send ya one
-
Aint she sweet?...lol! I'll send ya one too Rerun...

Wow, 13 hours, 7 days a week.. Did you get paid overtime?? Not to sound like a noob, which I am by the way, but a local job should pay OT, right?
-
I hate to say it but, "Look before you leap"! They may put on a great show at HQ, but if that's not where you would be working out of, it is worth talking to, at great length, the drivers where you will actually be working.
