The check engine light came on today, and it's code 95,IVA oil pressure voltage fault. Truck runs good, but i would like to know where this sensor is located. Any thoughts on the cause would be helpful.

Top of motor right side of valve covers, Those sensors fail all the time. Its a three wire sensor
-
Code 95 = End of month, need more business at dealership, stop in.
-
It should have derated. Does it feel gutless, like someone swapped in a Detroit while you weren't looking?
-
Check the wiring harness also, they've been known to get burned by the heat of the turbochargers.
-
95 is not a derate, just a light blinking to annoy me till i put tape over it to get me home.
-
ha ha ha, thats code 93 that does that....just limped back to the boss mans shop from Dallas because of a derate (code 93) thank goodness I was loaded light..
I'd still take a derated Cat over a detroit any day.. -
Just checked wire harness and it looked fine.May have to change sensor. If I unplug and replug sensor will the light go off if it was just a glitch?Anyone know the cost of the sensor?
-
I'm not for sure but don't you have to reset the fault code with a computer once repairs have been made ??
-
Mine derates, won't build over 25-30psi boost. I just usually shut the truck off and restart and it goes away. Always the same code, sensor must have been built by the lowest bidder.
