I cannot fathom why it is that people have this idea that teams can make more money than solo drivers.
The only time this is the case is with husband/wife teams.
That is it.
If all the money is not going into the same account then teaming is a bad move.
I know that some of the starter company's try to push it as the best thing since sliced bread, it is all a crock of crap though.
You will not make as much money. You will probably make less.
Unless a truck is on a dedicated lane, where you know where that truck will be going at all times in advance, the loads and miles will vary wildly. You will probably hardly ever see over 6000 miles in a week, and that is a waste. Running OTR solo, even with an e-log i could run 3300 miles per week easy solo.

My appologies to everyone. I thought I had credible information that I got from my uncle who is an Ohio State Highway Patrol. Turns out he was playing a joke on me, and I believed him at that. Pretty bad you can't trust your own family cop. Again, Sorry for bad info.

 

I have a friend that is teaming with Scheinder. He seems to be happy with it.. mostly. If he's not bsing me, he cleared 60k last year. He's a pretty straight up guy so suspect he's telling me the truth. Think that is few and far between tho!!!!
