Congrats on you going solo - welcome to the T600 club LOL! What's your truck number so I can look for you? Also I dont do this for the rewards of getting other drivers (even though that would be nice) it's more of information and making new friends. I know I am only one small piece to this company but if I can do my part to make it better and keep the customers happy - then we all win!

I'm at the house today and tomorrow - load isnt set to drop in Trenton until Monday but I'll be ready to head out again Saturday. Just hope I can get a load on Saturday due to low hrs this week also. Im only sitting at about 1600 - need one more decent run to make a good week.

Hope everone has a great Turkey Day!

    wulfman75 Thanks this.

Baritone, Let me know when you come through Trenton. DFW and I will probably be out practicing pre-trip this weekend. We'll be back in class Monday.

Baritone, Never questioned your motive for this post but it sure made a difference for me. Every time I see a CR England truck I think that poor guy, could've been me. My trk# is 7056. Look forward to shaking your hand.

Hope everyone has had a great holiday. I deceided to stay home a few days instead of heading back out on Friday or Saturday. I will stay home and watch the Falcons game tomorrow and then head to Trenton.

Truck has been sitting since Wednesday evening - each time I went to check on it it wouldnt start. It's been very cold here so not sure if the temps are causing it or what. Added more antifreeze since I have a leak and let it run for a while today. Looks like I will be spending Monday in Trenton getting it looked at.

Miles the past 2 weeks have been very low. Got to get back to rolling strong at least until X-Mas!

Sure has been nice spending time with family for a few days though!

Not sure if this will help you or not but here's a tip for those that don't know. If you dont plug in these trucks' engine block heater they won't start in the cold weather when sitting. Also, if its been sitting it will not warm a cold engine enough to make a difference. It will only maintain a warm engine. This means you have to plug it in when you get home, you can't plug it in the last day or two and expect it to work if the engine wasn't warm to begin with. This was tested by Randy and Bill in Trenton taking infrared temperature readings so it's a proven fact. Hope this helps.

Another tip is to run your esbar heater before you leave, after a vacation, to help warm the plastics in the cab otherwise it takes many, many miles for your cab to actually warm going down the road in these temps.

one more thing: BRRRRRRRRRR!!!! it's cold! hope they get me on some southern runs.

I had that truck when I first started with Millis. It was a nightmare! Was in the shop more than on the road. The thing was scared to death of hills. It would always spike the temp gauge. I was finally able to get out of it and into a T2000. Then personal problems arouse and I had to leave Millis. If things change personally I will return to Millis. Good Luck with 7056 you might need it.

Baritone, Your son may never tell you about what happened. Been there, done that. My wives (i'm on my 3rd) don't know 1/2 of what i've done and I will never tell them. I served 20 years. You tell your son to take care. The nightmares will eventually go away
