    :tongue4: <- this one?

Well....With the holiday and stuff, the rig will be sitting at KW back inside the secure lot (at least) while they continue to figure things out....
I stopped there last night to check in. At least this time they had plastic on the brand new seats for once...

Maybe "gettin' pissed" was just the wake up call they needed from you!
It's about time those clowns started treating you like a paying customer!

Since you've paid the last 20 payments on their shop lease!:biggrin_25523:

Even though I have ate some crow on the main complaint here (We did verify it was the right part and stuff)...I'm not sure how my relationship with this dealer will be after this.

An odd thing: - Yesterday (Wednesday) I emailed the main Service Manager (my guy's actual boss) and discussed some concerns with him and asked him to call me.
He emailed me a few hours later and told me he was off until Friday and if it could wait until then.
Hmmm. Gee, he had time to write me an email telling me he was off, but couldn't pickup the phone and just buzz me? - Even if just to say something quick....

Is that too much to expect? - I'm not sure. I return calls to people on my days off (although my company is 24/7/365) unless I am out of town or something.. But here we have a customer that isn't happy. I think I should have expected a call vs a simple email.
Maybe I'm off base here. But I have indeed made many of the 'shop' payments there. There are only a few that know what I have really spent within 6months and its rather obscene.

You're not off base here, but unfortunately customer service is something I fear has gone by the wayside when it comes to larger companies. Many have laid off employees to reflect the economy and stuff suffers as a result.

Still doesn't mean you should accept less than normal customer service.

It seems to be a common thing these days. They think an e-mail is easier, you can't yell back, and maybe you'll cool down more in a couple of days. It is the exact same thing as the whole "Dial 1 for.... dial 2 for...." they want you to go away. They figure you will get sick of waiting or listening to the stupid menus. This is by design.

Sounds like they are stalling for time.

Gee...No call today. I was told I would get a call from the Service Manager 1st thing Friday AM (today). Nothing. It's now almost 5pm. Guess my business isn't all that important to them - even though my last few repair bills likely paid their shop lease....

The Service Writer had better call me tonight when he frees up (usually around 7pm or so) or that's it with this dam place. I expected much more from a Kenworth dealer. I am more than patient around a holiday of course but the rig has been sitting there since 10am last Saturday. Almost a week and nothing has been done to correct the crap they did/didn't do properly.

I just don't get people...I likely never will.

Man! Sorry for your luck. Sounds just like the equipment dealer here. Maybe you already have but... Have you gone higher up the ladder? I know in here if we get those boss or even the regional bosses things happen to our liking. Good luck and nice truck!

The dealer just called me. Told me they will have the truck worked on Monday night. Whatever...I am just so disillusioned with things.

Then get this...They told me the Kingpins/Sleeves (if needed) and alignment would be around $2150. Gee and I had thought the last quote I got for $1500 from them for the same work was expensive. ( seems alignment and sleeves were extra )

$2150 for kingpins. I am not sure how they can't be embarrassed quoting a price that insane. If anyone around here found out I even THOUGHT of spending that amount on that work, I would likely be BANNED from this site..
