You would think 2 DWI's is two too many if you lost someone to them.
The one that hit my brother in law and kept going had never been charged for one and did not get charged with it this time either. In fact, several hours had passed until they caught up with him and there was no way to prove it. He did admit to it though in court.Brickman Thanks this. -
I gotta give the guys credit on this one, at least they didnt try the road closest to the scales.

I had mine suspended once for 9 months and didnt know it till I went to get them renewed. At one time Kentucky used a persons SS number as the licenses number(real freakin smart) and I had gotten a ticket for something that had to be fixed on the truck I was driving, the company didnt pay the ticket and about that time they changed every one licenses number to what we have today. For what ever reason Ky or the court never sent me a letter tellin me to take care of the ticket. After the fine was payed I was good to go again. -
Same here in the Houston area. Lives lost over drinking and driving.
Mechanics of the collision are a bit different, but the funeral home will be a busy place.
Drive safely out there!

I was sitting at the scale in Pouce Coupe, BC earlier this year having a minor difficulty with DG paperwork ironed out, and started chatting to another driver who had been put OOS. Last time I saw tires like his, they were on a Formula 1 car. DOT apparently don't like slicks.
Naturally, it wasn't the driver's fault that his tires were ready to explode. It was all his dispatcher's fault for sending him to BC during the annual blitz. The mind boggles. -
Can't you just shoot 'em, and put us all out of our misery? Ye gods. And people REALLY believe it's possible to con the public into treating us like professionals. Imagine a surgeon showing that level of lunacy. His own colleagues would likely chuck him out.Brickman Thanks this.

Dionysus- being in the medical profession I hate to tell ya this but docs can be just as bad and stupid. Having a college education does not preclude you from being stupid or addicted. Many docs are drug addicts and steal from the hospital and are STILL working or given ''sabaticals''
I doubt that any job out there does not have their share of idiots but it's scary to think of drivers that can kill or MD's that can kill too!!!! or keep getting by with out getting caught or just repeating the same dumb sheet!!!!

LOL because malpractice never happens, or people getting molested by doctors while unconscious, or any number of other crazy stuff. There are lunatics everywhere.sammycat Thanks this.

Wednesday afternoon on my way home, I exited Hwy 58 # exit 72 and headed for Mojave ( I live on the backway people use to go around the scale, DOT sets up right in front of my house).
Anyway this guy following ask me if I know how to go around and I tell him sure follow me if you want, when one our local CHP come on and tell us DOT is setup.
So I told this not to follow but get back on the Hwy and go down to hwy 138 to 5. So this guy follows me , I turn into my yard and CHP has a ahy day. On the radio this was my fault, out of hours, over weight and driving into CHPs trap.... What a way to start Thanksgiving.... -
OK. I guess I chose the wrong gang of professionals. How about lawyers? No, that obviously doesn't work. Teachers? Illiterate kids leaving school. Another bad choice. Hey, maybe we were professionals all along and just didn't notice. We don't seem to be any worse than any other gang of so-called professionals.
