It is a term used by people with an IQ of less than 60.
They should not function in society, and many do not. Those that do not are very liberal and want free money, or the money they believe that they are "owed".
Or your average youth under age 25. But I digress. -
Poor English. CDL, with such and such endorsements would be more correct. Or CDL A which is listing which class of license you have, since you can get a CDL C, B, or A. (That's in CA anyway, may be different for another state)

Communist Dependent Liberals?
Cute Doggy Leggings?
Courageous Daring Lads?
Oh....
Curvy Delicious Ladies!
That's it! -
In Ontario Canada we call a "CDL" a class A.
It allows any tractor-trailer or combination of motor vehicle and towed vehicles where the towed vehicles exceed a total gross weight of 4,600 kilos (10,141 Lbs ).
To drive an air brake equipped vehicle, we need a Z endorsement.
Hence AZ. -
I hope he doesn't have CDL's. It's illegal to have more than one! ####, what state are you from?
-
The state of confusion.
Confounded Darned Losers...
Cooked Danish Lobsters...
C'mon! Help me out here! -
Yes Folks, it's a CDL....Singular, not plural. "Commercial Driver(s) License". Just one, right?
Brickman Thanks this. -
