Just registered to get my CDL!!! What next??? What do you recommend???

one things for sure... i dont care what anyone says about the industry, its what ive always wanted to do my entire life, and its what im going to do. i dont care how bad it sucks, as long as i can get a job doing it, im fine.

 

When you buy a $5 footlong, have them put mayonaise and mustard on only half the sandwich so when you eat the other half for breakfast it isn't all squishy.

You can buy a 10 piece McNugget as a combo or you can get 20 piece McNugget and a medium drink for $0.20 more then you can have 10 McNuggets for breakfast.

This is the sort of stuff they won't teach you in school. But, it's possibly more important.

 

Don't eat the hotdogs anywhere! They add inches to your waist!

 

There is no chance, that most of the drivers I've seen, save even a bite of the footlong for breakfast. (Unless they buy 2)

 

I hear ya. I see some pretty big dudes out there. You have to be Intentional about your diet out there. Get the Coleman 12v fridge and the lunch box oven.

Stay away from the sodas and whatever you do .... get out of the truck and walk around.

I wish the school taught more about long-term tent living in the truck.

 

A year minus a week has come and gone. Is freight at a 20 year low, or like the mail, is it rebounding? How (besides asking you good people) could have I looked this information up myself?
