Here I will save you the time of reading 1000 different posts!
Miles you can expect weekly your first year of driving = 0 - 4200

yea, reason i asked was because recruiters always make it sound like you'll get a ton of miles. i was just curious as to what ACTUAL miles new drivers a getting? would also give me an idea as to what company to apply for. thanks

it may depend on where you reside, as to who is hiring !!!

A lot of miles is about 4200 a week! Most newbies think 1500 is a lot. I read a post from a newbie and they were complaining about running 3800 a week with their trainer. If you can show your DM that you can drive, fill out a log and communicate somewhat then you will get miles. Probably more than you can handle at first.

Try checking out some sites like careersingear or bigrigjobs. You can put in your city or town and it will show you the companies that are hiring in that area. Stay away from the mega-carriers!

Also, asking drivers about miles is like asking people how much they pee a day! Lots of variables there!
