1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

There are a lot of professions in the world that are less stressful, more enjoyable, etc. There are things I love about trucking and things I hate. It's not like you are a bartender on a beach in Jamaica. You should get paid for doing this job.

    Hmmm .30 huh?

    Two questions come to mind.........

Is this why I saw a Covenant truck laying on it's side coming back from grandmas?

Is this why Covenant has iron ( mty trucks ) against the fence?

    And I ponder......

Is this how they paid for the mega office expansion ( including pillars )?

One could speculate that the .30 plays a role in all three, ya?

    Vundabar !:biggrin_255:

I've got a buddy who drives for Estes, out of South Bend, IN (think it used to be Town Air) off of US 20. He loves it. He's not the kind of guy to talk about how much money he makes or anything but when I did ask him about it he just told me that he's making more money now than he's ever made in his life and he's home most nights and weekends. I know he just bought a brand new car for his fiance and they just bought a new house.

    Yea, they pay very well.
Celadon.. .32 cents a mile and they don't hire students. They also take money out of your check if you go out of route for fuel or whatever. They ping the truck every 15 minutes.
