SCHNEIDER OR STAR (Nashville TN) which is best???

Looking into driving for one of the two, need recent information. Miles? Pay per mile? Hometime? Dispatchers? Anything... I know I need to base my decision on what is better for me but your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Thanks, notarps...have u ever worked with schneider? I was told that they have paperless logs. I hope that's not in all their trucks yet. I'm sure I will have to go paperless at one point anyway.

 

Thanks dj trucker, I went to their terminal today in west memphis and talked with a recruiter. He said 27 cents a mile to start, after 6 mnths 31, then after a year 33. Pay 300 dollars for orientation. Home weekly, not sure if I wana be home every weekend, if 27 cent is what I will be getting. But if they are telling the truth, it will be good to have that option.

Its good to hear schneider for best choice, because that's who I'm leaning toward. Does anyone work for SNI, do u get good hometime? & Miles? The only thing I dislike is not being able to take truck home with me, I guess I will get over that part. Thanks for your comments...I hope their is more to come.
