Hey guys - hope everyone had a great Turkey Day.

Sitting in Lake Station, IN getting in a reset since I don't deliver till 11am Monday in Chicago. It's snowing like crazy here and winds of 30+ roads closing around me.

Hope I can get out of here in the morning. Will update more later have been running hard past few weeks.

Doing some laundry and just put a roast in the crock pot - watching it snow!

    Be safe driver!

We're supposed to get some nasty stuff down here tonight so anyone heading this way needs to keep an eye out!

I want to thank Baritone for starting this thread and all the Millis drivers who participate. Thanks to you my search is over! I have spent many hours reading, researching and worrying about where I would make a good fit in this industry. It has been stressful decision because I am changing careers. After reading this thread and following up on Millis Transfer the decision was easy. I put my application in and it has been accepted. I have paid my $100.00 reserving a spot in Richfield WI. for January 31, 2011. Feels like someone has lifted weight off my chest and I know with confidence (thanks to your posts) that I have made a good decision. Now I am hoping that I might get bumped to an earlier class. I am so ready to for this change! Again thanks for all your posts and hopefully I will be meeting you soon.

Congrats and welcome to Millis. Make sure you write down everyones truck numbers and look for us. A lot of drivers go upto Richfield.

Well tested out today with Mike Millis in BRF. Got assign to #6080, chose a t2000 for the room. They put me up in a hotel for the night to let the truck thaw out. So I will be up and in the am.

Sorry to hear that. Keep checking the industry changes everyday. You never know, we might expand that way. Or find a relative in the hiring area and change to their address. Were there is a will there is a way. Good luck!!!
