Anybody here haul liquid propane?

I agree frost bite is the worst thing about hauling propane ! OH and have you ever blown up a balloon and the let it go,,, a big enough tank breach and your truck and trailer will act much the same way remember i gallon of propane makes 750 gallons of vapor to !!!!!

 

I just recently started hauling LPG. I do bulk transport. It is pretty strait foward work. I love it. If you do the bulk side, word of advice...get you a portable dvd player or laptop...your gonna need it!!

 

Ive hauled lp gas for 13 years, its a pretty good job no matter whwt some truckers say sure its liquid dynamite but hey its really not any different than haulin anything else other than the d.o.t looks at you a little different but if you keep your ducks in a row and work for a company that does the same its all good, and the cleaner you keep the truck the better off you are

If I ever have the chance to go back to hauling LP, I'd do it.

Good, heavy tank. I got caught one evening coming back empty to the tank farm and an ice storm froze the two grades I had to go down (a 6% and a 5%, about 5 miles total). But the tank, though top-heavy, is so solid I was never hampered by the feeling of instability.
