My name is Alan and like several other threads I've read, this is a definite career change for me. I'm 51 years old and was self employed for the last 7 years, but have been under employed for most of the last year. Since mid-November I have been focused on getting a CDL . No, it's not a mid life crisis, it's an economic crisis. I'm halfway through my class at a tech school in GA and should finish up in late January. I've sent applications to several carriers and I hope to get more than one offer. But if I only get one, and it's hauling fish guts to Mexico, well I guess I'll have to brush up on my spanish.

Wow, hauling into Mexico, and then to top it off, fish guts? What type of wagon would you haul fish guts in? Just curious. Anyways, welcome aboard. Glad you joined TTR, and hope you get some more offers in the process. Keep us posted.
