I live in central Alabama and I'm looking for a job that has a pet policy and a year round rider program and starts out better than 34 cents a mile. All comment welcomed

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

aren't we all!...... good luck!

....you may want to provide a bit more detail about yourself before others on the forum can be expected to offer you reasonable advice. For example, how much experience do you have? Any tickets? Any Civil/Criminal convictions? Do you have verifiable employment history for the past three years? The list of questions goes on and on. Suffice to say that if you are a million miler with 0 accidents/tickets you could get all you are requesting and more regardless of where you live. If, however, you are simply a newbie still sitting in CDL school looking at pre-hire apps.......well.......um........ You get it?

I like the job I have now but the benefits suck yoiu have to run9252 a month to keep you benefits. You can't run it if they don't dispatch it

Who are you working for?
-
Well, even with a year + in experiance you'll be lucky to be getting $0.32 CPM. Doesn't really matter what your CPM is. You'll end up with one of the following. High pay with little to no miles or low, under the belt pay working your ### off. Either way the wage ain't gonna differ enough to make much of a difference unless you get lucky and land a company that actually treats their drivers right which is a rarity these days.

I have been doing this for 34 years and below $.35 in not an option unless they have alot of really great pay package.

34 years... Really? That is more than BS I smell. -
And how many years you got BlackCat? My dad has 30+ years under his belt. It's not that hard to have 34 years racked up in this biz.ampm wayne Thanks this.
