I wish, unfortunately, my wife has a job that unfortunately keeps her around borders! and she would never leave her family.
LOL, trust me man, i know! you think I like WNY! I know eastern ohio and western PA is a decent spot for jobs, and the taxes are way lower than NY. not only are the taxes higher up here, but the wages are depressed, I know most companies around here that are not union pay a dollar or 2 less here in buffalo, than other places in the country. what a slap in the face, ya know?

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
live in Ohio need a job...

i like to be paid by percentage... lets see how it goes. -
well, if you talk to roni, tell her there is still a guy up in north collins ny that still wants to drive for them.....lemme know how it goes, that has to be a really nice job...
-
Yourga take recent grads? their website doesnt really give any info. i talked to strimbu today and the guy told me they are looking for experienced drivers so im looking for a good flatbed company. thanks
-
let me tell ya.........local gigs are not all that great either, yup, u home every night, but you'll usually get more rest staying in the truck, travel time and fuel just back and forth adds up, you'll do more time local sometimes and for alot less money, only thing i liked about local was no matter what i was doin, i still made a measley 14 buks a hour, ie; stuck in traffic, shippers screwin ya ect ect, least ya know ya gettin somethin for your time
-
sorry but i dont agree with that, i like to be home frequently, and i sleep better in my bed with my wife, not in the truck, and i have family to take care of it, i've spend to much time OTR in the past and thats not good at all, i know that working local and some regional i can make good money, plus i live 15 minutes from the company......
!!! if u have family and kids stay regional or local not OTR!!
already gone and KISS88 Thank this. -
cool perez, good for you, i was just saying my experience, glad it works for you though
-
thats ok, everybody has diferent living styles and i respect that
but in my case i wish to be regional or local and make good money.
-
I want a local gig after my 1 yr OTR experience, lol
Can't stand missing the family, but need to do this to get the drive time in....
I trade you for your local gig,lol
So what kind of local gigs are there?
