Where do all these yahoo's come from? We're hearing more and more hit and runs. The fact he didn't stop to see if he could offer medical assistance shows he has no concern for human life. I hope he spends Christmas in jail.Starmushrooms and JimDriv3r Thank this. -
Just another self-centered piece of crap that just tarnished the reputation of truckers once again. find and fry him good!
JimDriv3r and Starmushrooms Thank this. -
Thanks for the link Condo. It really makes me angry that people do this, pull a hit-and-run.
A friend was in an accident the day before I came home for Christmas and it was a hit-and-run. Semi merged into his lane and pushed him completely off the road. He was able to control it and follow him to a rest area where he saw the guy get out and try to fix his damage. When he confronted him the other guy begged him not to get the police involved and he would pay him to go away. He called the police.
While they were there though another trucker was being arrested for another hit-and-run where a woman was killed after he slammed into her back end on ice.
Personally, if it were me that did that to someone, I would stop. I couldn't live with myself if I kept going. Sad part is we spent a week driving back and forth across that area of 40. People really need to watch it, and if they think it's too bad to drive just shut it down.JimDriv3r and Marksteven Thank this. -
come on people get real....if u run over something u know it..IF SOMEONE HITS U!!!! U KNOW IT ...shouldnt have a cdl thats for sure...saying the driver may not know..phewy....he or she knows..hope they find em and hang em....
-
I agree. I have too much of a conscious if I were to keep driving after a hit-and-run. They need to keep yahoos like that driver that ran the car off the road away from trucks.
-
According to the article, the SUV lost control and hit the tractor-trailer.The driver definitely should have stopped (what person with a conscience wouldn't?) but to be a "hit-and -run, then the trucker would have had to initiate the collision, wouldn't they?
-
Am I missing something here? The article I read said the SUV hit the semi. Yes, most likely the semi should have realized he/she was hit.....and yes that driver is legally required to stay IF he/she realized they were hit. But why is it being said to "hang him". He didn't cause the accident.
Law enforcement officials are now saying the SUV may or may NOT have even hit the semit at all. Law enforcement officials are saying the accident is the fault of the SUV driver and do not feel the semi driver did anything wrong.
Sheesh why don't we just shoot him before we find out all the facts?Buckeye 'bedder, Kimmi, 07-379Pete and 1 other person Thank this. -
I see the hanging crowd is out in full force again before all the facts have came out.
Nice. -
yes it does say that they think the suv driver hit the truck...my point is, why didnt the driver stop??? thats what i am mad about...why wouldnt a person stop???
