Really could use some advice. Looking at a 2004 international with a 2003 C-12 motor. This not an ACERT motor and has a single turbo but does have the cat converter in the stack. Is this a reliable engine and can i get some good use out of this. The truck has low milage 155,000. Any info and advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's a bridge motor C-12, get rid of the stock muffler and have it reflashed to a pre-bridge C-12 file. It will run alot better and get great fuel mileage.

old c12 ia nice engine. very reliable... more expencive to rebuild, but when it is ok, it is very good engine.

Yeah, there are some weak pionts, like wiring harness, injectors, fuel pump, but comparing with other engines it is good! no EGR - no problem )))

BTW - the only way to damage cat ecm - wrong batteries polarity in combinaton of wrong rated ecm fuses)) LOL
