    Isn't Germany 18.75 for truck+trailer, and 16.5 for tractor+semitrailer?

If I well understood you there is no mechanical connection between gearbox and gear knob?

you mentioned flat floor is that on Megaspace?

(both of trucks i had seen are low cab with engine tunnel )

On picture I see there is Megaspace Cab Actros. Flat floor, no tonnel and that's why no room for mechanical connection knob-transmission. Mercedes use hydraulic shift unit connected with knob with fluid lines, like car brake lines.

You sometimes run into inner bridge law issues on the interstate in some states with trailers shorter than 45', depending on the length of the tractor. If the tractor is long enough (and I don't remember how long) you can haul full 80k lb load with a 39' trailer. You get shorter than that, the weight you can legally haul on the interstate goes down, unless you add axles. I don't remember exactly how it works though, but you were just looking for an incredibly vague answer, right? :)

i know for that bridge formula but what when you haul 20ft long ISO container they are it is not good to put it on the middle of frame end even if you have 3axle semitrailer you could have problems with chassis

How long before this becomes your trucks are ugly vs your trucks are stupid?
I give it 5 more posts.

I personally have some pretty clever and dumb ugly trucks.

IMO, EU lows are stupid, like old US lows of the age of very short COE trucks.
