Hanging around here complaining that it's not fair, arguing, and trading insults is going to get you nowhere. There's a certain set of rules and standards that apply to getting hired in this industry, just like any other. If you don't measure up, you may as well quit whining and move on.

I'd like to be an astronaut or a brain surgeon, but being in my early 50's, with no college degree or related experience, I've come to accept that it isn't gonna happen. Darn!

 

You didnt want to drive 4 hours to go to court? Instead you agree to 10 AA classes? Hmmm. if each class was 2hours, you spent 20 hours of sitting in a room with a bunch of alcoholics, AND you dont even drink? I bet that was fun!

 

I don't mean to be coming off as making snide ###hole remarks. I spent 23 years in law enforcement and can say with 100% percent confidence I never arrested a sober drunk. For you to have been arrested there had to be some evidence you were under the influence, smell of alcohol, slow speech, glassy eyes, inability to complete simple tasks. It is not illegal for you to be a passenger in a car with someone else who is drinkng. Yes, passengers do get arrested when there is evidence they have been drining. All law enforcement vidioe/audio record there public contacts to protect themselves from false allegations and to protect the public from abusive officers. I dont understand how it was the "easy way out" taking 10 hours of AA when you could have spent 2 hours in a court (you can represent yourself on misdemeanors) demanding proof of you being intoxicated. It just doesn't make sense to me.LOL, I actual had a guy take me to court stating he was sober when I arrested him and I drove him around and forced him to drink whiskey until he was drunk. As dumb as that was, thank goodness for the audo/video to proof what kind of liar he was!

 

Stop posting here and go apply at cr england,swift,schneider,werner, crst,(btw crst and england have training in mira loma,ca.) there are others I am sure,so instead of arguing your innocence in front of everyone here,I am quite sure that on one gives a rats ##### whether u r guilty or not.Suck it up, do your 12 or 18 or even 24 months at one of these god awful company's then u could go anywhere,except prime. I failed a drug screen 4 years ago in a cdl training school,it went on my dac,and I busted my butt with local jobs and that sort and less than reputable companies.After 3 years,my drug screen fell off my Dac report,and I am now blessed with a 43 cpm loaded unloaded job. You need to read the questions carefully,they usually ask for ANY arrest and/or and felony conviction. IMHO you sound like a quitter or whiner,so turn it around and get after it,MAN!!! Prime is not the only game in town,trust me.

Just concentrate on what you can do and stop worrying about ther past!!!!
