I agree, a lot of these city ordinances have gone way to far. Completely off base.

I am surprised you never mentioned anything about Jake Brake ordinances. What brainless ###### decided a 80,000 LB truck shouldn't be allowed to use devices that assist in slowing the vehicle in small towns with 7-8% grades.

You mentioned a whole lot I agree with though. Amen to that

 

That's why I live out in the sticks. I couldn't possibly live in town and stay out of jail.

 

But it's o k for "those" people to park their big, honking, view obstructing RV's in their driveways for 6 months at a shot! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE??!?

 

They're special . . . NOT! That really annoys me too. The small town we live in has no issues when hubby does bring his truck home. He just brings the tractor though. I found out straight from the Chief of Police about parking the tractor at home though. The nice thing about very small towns!
