Basically,it is about more than just bear reports. I should have expanded upon my statement.Turn off the radio and steering wheel holders, you know about them, will be turning on that same radio and asking why the traffic is stopped or what is going on w/said traffic.
Even driving the speed limit will get you a ticket in communist states like ohio and california.
Therefore it is always nice to know the location of the cops so even steering wheel holders are able to drive accordingly.

    Whatever you think.

I run mine every once in a while. The morons get on the radio with stupid crap.

Turn it off. May be a long time again unless I run with someone.

I do not worry about the bears and I have not had a ticket for speeding since 1975.

I run the speed limit in California and Ohio and have NEVER gotten a ticket for obeying the speed limit. What a line of crap.

if you can get a few different reports and they all have a bear in that area you can use guess he is probobly working that area, if you dont hear about him again then he is just moving on.

if more people would help out then a bear wouldnt be able to hit the road without everyone knowing it.

    Yes to the bold.

As to the not "stopping to assist a broken down driver on the side of the road?" syndrome, I've pretty much stopped that because of all the stopping on the side of the road to read the map, make/receive a phone call and/or read the Qcomm, take a piss, change drivers, etc.

I'm an older driver, too, and it just ain't like it was. Some things are worse, and some things are better. Just the way it is.

The only constant in life is change.

Too much jack and smack talk on the radio ... Satellite radio, and trucks incapable of doing the limit ... much less exceeding it.

Even many of those who can - don't to save fuel.

Still around on 2 lane state and county truck routes tho.
