Does Watkins & Shepard Allow.....

I'm with BNR, I checked into the software but by the time I finished researching found the paper log effortless once I got in the groove...Easier to "manage" also!

 

Tim the safety/ training guy in Conover told us in orientation about a program we could use and he showed it to us on his computer, I cant remember the name though....and you could just print it so you dont have to rewrite it...

So you can check your logs based on the W/S format. Most of these log programs are really good for simply checking your math and other things so you don't write down the wrong thing and sign it. I tried DDL and loved it, but like was said before. I drive, do my log, position myself for sleep. I don't have the energy to fire up the computer especially when I could do my log by the time the computer and the program came up and running. I love technology, but I can't justify the benefits as opposed to the expense. But, everybody is different.

That's a question for W/S to answer.

My guess would be that the answer probably has something to do with ensuring absolute uniformity of all logs submitted to the girl in the logging dept.
