Had an interview this past week, it was with the trans manager, and on a computer coference call with two other people, they were all asking questions...
The road test went fine, it was about a 30-35 mile trip...
Going to leave a company that I have been with for 16 years, if they call an want to hire me...
The company I work for used to be one of the best, but not anymore...Never thought I would want to leave, but the way they have treated us over the last couple of years has changed my mind...
BTW, I live 290 miles from the DC I plan to go to work for. -
I wonder if anyone could answer this question, what can a new driver reasonably expect to earn the first year working 5 and off 2...And how much is the health insurance for a family..
-
sorry wrong post -

hey i work with wal mart drivers an you can expect 70 grand on that schedule

What kebo 072 dont tell you, you need thick kneepads to get on walmart fleet, and be in good with the safety super, I have all the experience in the world, been trying to get on with them for years but, just never make it. I file a new app about every 6 months,I guess maybe Im just too old

Thick knee pads wont get you hired. Wal-Mart looks for more than driving experience. When you go in for an interview they focus on your appearance, personality, attitude, professionalism and your commitment to safety.

i guess that is why walmart only has a 3 % turnaround in an industry that seems to spit out drivers like a frito lays machine... its a dream job and very hard to get on thats all.
