Just wondering if Greeley, CO is the only place where they do orientation????
How do they get you there? by bus? I live in NC and was considering them but NC to CO is a long bus ride.
Thanks for any info. -
I believe they said fly me in from Fl. sooo... don't quote me but...
-
They Fly everyone in, There is no Bus, No Trains JBS Will Fly you in and have you picked up by a Limo to transport you to Greeley to the Hotel,
-
If you were to run the western US, JBS does now do orientation out of Hyrum, UT which is near Logan. They would fly you into Salt Lake and shuttle you north to Logan.

As the wife of a trucker, I totally understand where you are coming from. I appreciate the info you posted. I want to read the "good, the bad, and the ugly" lol. We are interested in learning about JBS and want the WHOLE picture before he changes jobs again. He is 54 and tired of looking for the right company for us.I just found truckers report and am learning a lot in a short amount of time about several companies. I wish I had known about this site before! Thanks and don't appologize for being informative!

Wow!, that sounds like a pretty good deal right there. Thank you -
I was really thinking about JBS until I read about the single bunks in the truck. My wife will be riding with me when she gets here from China, and me being 5'11 and 220 and her being all of 105 and 5'1, that one single bunk can get crowded, plus I think that I would roll over and flatten her.
Other than that, it sounds like a great company, and one that I could finally get some miles, and even get home every three weeks. Live just east of Columbus, OH, but then with my luck, I would get just aout every Northeast and East Coast load that came out, and that is so much what I am trying to get away from.
Thanks for all of the info. -
Well A short and Simple update, I No Longer work for JBS Carriers, I can not discuss it on the internet due to some Legal actions being taken on my behalf and my Attorney has advised that I simply inform the reading public that I am not longer employed at JBS Carriers I will answer any questions sent to my email or phone calls to my phone number which can be found in earlier post. As this is something that will be a continuing action I can not comment on my personal reasons for not working there anymore. I can say this if you want to know EMAIL me or call me.

For as great a Doc claimed JBS was, something happened, to change his mind, and now in a legal battle...Makes one wonder, and with their Safer score... A good driver is taking a risk going to work for them.
