I agree with both of you on that. I'd take a fail just to get that opportunity.
-
Aww, c'mon. Even lawyers and politicians have their good points. Gimme a minute and I'll think of one....

Another big one is do not free wheel, ie. dont coast in nuetral or with the clutch in for more that 75ft. I know NY was 75 ft when I took my test other states could be different.

Keep thinking, Injun. Wake me when you come up with something. I got a ten-year coma scheduled...

One thing to keep in mind, on top of all the CDL material you studied, do not forget the basic stuff you learned when you were 16, stop for 2 full seconds at stop signs, turn signals, 2 hands on the wheel, etc.
-
Alright, so keep in mind some of the things I learned for driving the 4-wheeler. That makes sense. Also, I don't know how long I shouldn't be in neutral/coasting here in CA. Lot of stuff I have to find out.

Seriously, the tester has a form and you will lose a certain number of points for each thing you do wrong, like not signaling, failing to come to a complete stop, pulling ahead too many times doing your back, etc. If you accumulate too many points you fail.
And if you forget enough stuff on the pre-trip, you could fail before you get out of the parking lot. -
Don't shift going over RR tracks.

Hey how about, don't do drugs and drug test won't be so bad. That's what they taught me in truck driving school!
