You can renew online in a few minutes. What's the problem?

On the other hand, I drove my new truck for three months with no tags because of the company. I was amazed at the lack of attention. They are too busy looking at the driver and IFTA sticker.

Fix a flat on a fishing boat?

Hey, us country boys carry fix a flat all the time on a boat all the time. Saves money on a taxidermy! :) Instafoam works better but it costs more.

Avoid the whole problem. Get trip permits for each state you will be in. Only some states give a "grace period."

Non-Commercial? DOT probably won't say anything because you're not their problem. Regular state guys? You'll get a ticket. I have no idea why you'd be crossing scales with a non-commercial vehicle.
