Yeah and they still have alot of 2010's even cheaper. I think I paid $50 for my first map in 1995. Boy, did I learn the hard way. So this is a good thread.

$39.99 seems the cheapest on Ebay, still better than amazon but maybe better deals at the TS?

Yea they would be way better at a truck stop. I just so happen to come across my map in november and I bid on it when nobody else did and I paid only $10.

    sparkymax Thanks this.

I've used both the paper and the laminated and prefer the paper version. The laminated version is waaay thicker than the paper version. In the same space I can store a paper atlas and an exit guide. Laminated is more expensive and lasts so long you will be tempted to keep an old version too long. I also don't like the huge gap between facing pages. The motor carrier atlas is available at almost every truck stop, all year long, and there are big bargains at the end of the year.

Beat me to it! I was just going to say Ebay and Amazon have really good deals on Atlas's. Don't forget your Truck Stop Guide! That's just as important as the Atlas! They are a lot cheaper though. Usually like $12-18 or so. You can get a pocket version too. They also have these on Ebay and Amazon.

I always buy mine at the truck stops.
I have never paid over 30 bucks for the newest version. Spiral bound and laminated.
Or if you do not mind getting one almost a year old you can get them for 10 bucks or less, spiral bound and laminated.

    For a truck stop guide.
I stopped buying the big ones. I like the pocket guide. It has all the info that I need and is less than 8 bucks.
Stops by interstate and exit number. If it has a small, med, or large lot. New version has all rest areas. And it shows total miles of each interstate in each state. Which makes it good for a quick glance on taxes.

One thing... when it comes to city type maps stop at the welcome center for whatever state you need. The one they have is way better detailed streets than the ones in the atlas.

Loves also has the 2011 paper ones on sale for $13. Nice to have the latest ones discounted so much so early in the year. Way to go Loves!
