So what? Confederate flags all over the US. Boy, the things some people get their knickers in a knot over!

What's next? Getting upset over a US flag at a California high school? Oh, wait...that already happened...

Although most southerners know what this flag means. A lot of people now use it while pushing racial hate. I know because I grew up with the hatred. The US Flag is a symbol of Unity. The Confederate flag is one of descent. I for one say remember history so we dont repeat it, but. Shouldnt we let go of the past.

I for one use the confederate flag, as a symbol for being a rebel against the system. I am working on a project car of mine a bright orange Mercedes & by spring it will have a confederate flag painted on the roof along with an 01 on both sides lol.

I have some family that fly the confederate flag for other reasons, & some are in the klan, last I really heard it was around 700 member strong in this redneck "appalachian american" area.

the war was fought long ago, & people need to give it a rest. we all know the outcome, & we need to get along with our fellow man. Now just keep them legislators on their toes! one day the people of this nation may have enough of the govt interference, it sure looks like truckers are sick of it? lol. or will be shortly?

Greely, CO.........I take it that Greely is one of those places here in America that still lives in 1960 or earlier. I'm pretty sure that worse is said about MLK, so how/why did this even make the news? What is the point that the radio station owner is trying to make?

Confederate Flag info that you already know about:

And once again, contrary to the Hollywood version of U.S. History, the primary reason why the Southern States wished to secede was STATES' RIGHTS, not SLAVERY... and before anyone starts carping and whining, I've dealt with PLENTY of RACISM and REVERSE DISCRIMINATION in my time, living as I do in MEXIFORNIA, where American flags are indeed burned, an activity I don't much like after serving in the Infantry. You wanna whine about a flag, c'mon out here to Shaky and start whining about the Mexican flag flying over the upside-down U.S. flag... otherwise, #### and save it for the History Channel.:biggrin_25510:

Once upon a time, flying one country's flag over another flown upside down was considered an act of war.
