I generally go by their dialect. The more broken English they utilize, the more likely they are here illegally.

True, law abiding, and legal immigrants typically learn our language and speak it as opposed to that spanish or whatever their native language may be.

Just my perspective.Other than that I agree w/you regarding deportation and armed guards on the border. The United States is under siege by mainly latino illegals during a crippling economic downturn. Turn them back by force if necessary just like the mexican government enforces their southern border.

off topic but interesting, a disgruntled covenant driver attacked one of our linehaul drivers in the yard one night with a hammer

unfortunately for the covenant driver, that particular linehaul driver, even tho he was well into his 50s, is a very large ex marine who disarmed him, roughed him up and reported the incident....covenant driver was fired immediately

(i dont know what the argument was about or anything)

Snow flakes or a snow storm? I highly doubt anyone shut down for flakes and makes me question the validity of your stretched out story.

Keep pushing the line and thinking you're superior.

That is precisely why my posts had a sarcastic tone. KUDOS to you CC. That fed ex'er is one haughty and condescending driver.

I am betting that the late driver was late for good reason in his mind.

EXACTLY:biggrin_25514: How many times in other threads have all of us told a newb that he /she is the captain of the ship if they are NOT comfortable with the driving conditions during the winter to PARK. By being parked yes he made the freight late....BUT IT ARRIVED instead of being put on a salvage truck because the driver wrecked... get off the high horse man

I can go along with that, language is an important part of immersing oneself into a new culture.

    sniffle, sniffle.
    What a hero!
How dare he show his face!
Yeah, sitting around the break room watching tv, making $30 per hour...wah!
Quit sugar-coating it and tell us what you really think of them.
I'll bet they're shaking in their boots.
What? You Conway studs gonna let a "few snowflakes" bother you?
    removed insult
Yeah, Conway & Fed Ex drivers are the best burger flippers on the road.

    Ground no doubt...

Maybe not though - I work in the Northeast so our workforce is very diverse.. The difference is nobody is illegal and everyone is more than qualified..

I'm just guessing it's Ground after the explosions I've seen in the last couple days here with the snow and ice..
