I have seen mixed messages on here as to whether us express has it's own school or not and was wondering if any of you know if they do or not. I have a CDL but it's been two years since I came out of school and had left the frist company I was with in just a couple days for a decent reason. In fact that company said I was welcome back but I signed on with another company and ran out of money waiting for a trainer. So I had to take a regular job for a while to pay the bills I had at that time. Since it's been two years since then I know I will have to go through the schooling again and I'm ok with that but I am looking for a company school. And I know all the negatives about that belive me but without going into it, it's just my only option. Us Express interest me but I don't know if they have a company school or just tutition reimbursment. Thanks.

USXpress does not have a school but they do pay tuition.
If you goto BubbaJunk website, you can find companys that have there own training. CRST does, FFE does and CR England..

    Good luck

I currently work for usx they hire drivers every day with no exp, you stated that you have your cdl i dont see why you need to go thru school again, you would have go thru the training program tho

If you have no experience, they require 160 hours of training from a local CDL school in your state.

I will have to call them I guess to be sure. So far the currant response from the other carriers is that I would have to repeat schooling as a type of refresher course. But you never know. I can drive pretty well. I drove for Swift a way long time ago. But I almost got killed in one fo their trucks from a desinegrated (spelling-?) fuel line. Just a series of bad things have happened, some my fault, some not that have gotten me to this point. Thank you for taking the time to try and help.
