sensor in the top of the engine mounted fuel filter housing. Do you have the harness they sell online or are you just using a resistor?

using a rsistor

Just find the sensor on the filter head, unplug it and shove one end of the resistor in each hole in the harness and tape it up.

Hey Scratch, let me know how it works for ya. I too have an 06 msx. I found a good photo. Type in "Caterpillar power harness" then go to page 66.

fbz 22 i have tried many combinations over the last year from 150 olm for the fuel and 10k on the air side but have gone to 100olm for fuel and a 4.7k on the air temp sensor the 100olm shows a fuel temp of 188deg and the 4.7 shows 20 deg on air temp works out real well

I would not run the air intake temp wire, I have dyno tested all temperatures and did not get any measurable results. But more important, the engine fan will not come on with high intake temperatures as you have it at a fixed value. Twin turbos will get over 165 intake temperature in a long hard pull so the fan operation is needed.
