Dang Enulsified, we were an hour away from each other, I was at Kroger (Ralphs) in Vernon. Had appt for 6:30, got there at 6:35 due to screwy qualcomm direction, finally got unloaded at 10:45, second appt was suppose to be at 10:30 in Bell Gardens, so was late. But that reciever was cool. Got there and they had us unloaded in 10 minutes, 3rd stop was at US Growers with a 12:30 appt. Got there at 11:45. Sat and sat and sat waiting to get a door. We finally got unloaded at 7 PM. My trainer asked for and got dettention for the wait on that one. Why dont I get dettention? I was there waiting too
Trainer is taking a couple more days off to be with the GF, good grief. In a motel 6 for 2 nights. O1 is over on Sat, and we have a load going from San Diago to Ft Worth pick up Wed and delivers Friday, so I will be back in Dallas on Sat morning
Does O2 classes start on Sun, or Monday? I cant remember. They say they are way short of trainers right now, and being a non smoker makes it that much harder. I hope I dont have to wait too long for one.

Ralphs Sucks big time... Does not matter what your appointment time is, the gate does not open until 0600, and there will be 30 to 50 trucks all waiting to get in, and only 12 spots to stage. Then the check in process...Have never seen anything so unorganized.
I think I will stick with the treadmill/hamster wheel I am on, meat to New Jersey, and back. Good miles, no setting, except when I am out of hours. -
O2 is Monday/Wednesday/Friday
I got routed to the yard for my +90 days out.. been trying to get hom for the past 2 weeks.. wound up in Laredo, hoping for a FL load.. got a dead drop at the ft worth train yard. bobtailed in last saturday morning. Cleared the yard today, still waiting on some work the poor truck needs. hopefully I can get out of here late this week.
I was running pretty steady. but been out 9 weeks now, need a break and some beer. Alliance has been hounding me since I hit the yard. Told them I Might be interested, but not before i get some hometime.
gonna poke the shop first thing in the morning, see what's left on my trucks todo list.
6 brand new T700's rolled into the yard this weekend, not even labeled yet. But i like my T2.Corporal_Clegg Thanks this. -
Repowered a load last night from LA to the Bay Area. No one could figure out where it went (Raytheon), so they kept moving me to the next building, the next dock, etc.
Then I ran out of road. In a space not much wider than an alley, so had to back all the way out, around dumpsters, parked vehicles and finally unloaded at the second dock I had gone to . (ended up going to 8 different docks)
If you haven't backed up two blocks and around a corner as you're doing it, you haven't lived!
Have a load to pick up in the mid valley tomorrow, headed to Albuquerque.
Raisins.
Freight is extremely slow in Cali right now. Glad I got something. -
Hi folks.
Ugly.
Only word for the last three days.
After fighting snow and ice for two days, I drop at the rail yard. Roads are nice, so I bobtail to Chicago bakery on Kedzie.
I'm picking up a pre-loaded trailer going to Ohio. It was due to be picked up this morning 10 am. I roll in at 8pm.
Is the trailer ready?
No.
Are they loading it at least?
No.
Will it be ready tonight?
No.
In the morning?
We'll see. I guess.
1,000 mile week?
Possibly.
Spending the night next to the Chicago rail yards and under the landing path for Midway airport.
Earplugs ahoy.

shows what you know don't know dingy.
Now what is your problem Dingy??? Or are you just a chicken.... -
Dingy is a wannabe. His aim in life is to annoy people with companies he doesn't like.
It's beyond him that people can be happy and enjoy working for Stevens, so he attacks like a little Pomeranian...run in barking, then tuck tail between legs and run out.
As the old saying goes..Never try and teach a pig to sing... -
dingy just wishes he was at stevens, he seems a little repressed

The school I am attending is not a CC but the course is 18 weeks.
I felt the classroom phase could have been shorter but I understand why the course is set up this way.
My first three days on the range has been challenging but a blast!!
My instructor is very good.Corporal_Clegg Thanks this. -
