Trucker radio programs

I used to like listening to the Dave Ramsey Show. He actually came on a few different stations. 152 extreme talk was really good. There was a show called Monsters of the morning, they are actually here out of Orlando, Fl. Hilarious! Also on the same station is the Phillips Phile. That's a very good program too! I used to like listening to the comedy channels. Discover was a good station but I think they took it off. I liked the weather channel too. Was good for knowing what the road conditions were like. The trucker channel is good but can be somewhat boring at times. I liked the fact that you could listen to whatever music you wanted according to what mood you were in that particular day. I absolutely hated swapping trucks or getting a loaner when we broke down. I don't think I could drive without satellite radio now!

 

Ain't been any good truckin' radio since the days of...67 WMAQ, out of Chicago. Me and my buddy used to go out cruisin in his mom's car, with it on. Still remember commercials for the Jubitz truck stop, DoRay lights, and "mile after mile, nothing pulls like a DEEETROIT Diesel.....

Dave Ramsey has some good advice, but he gets full of himself quite often.

 

I agree with you on Dave Ramsey. The basics of getting out of debt and living within your means is good. He acts like you need to follow his advice 100% or you don't have a chance which I don't always agree with. He also get too goofy for me.

 

Chris T & Meredith these 2 were good a few years ago but now border the line of stupid. When they come on I shut it off and find something else. Bozo I listen to but don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. But he's been around so long that he has almost become one of us. He's just to funny at times to shut off. The Lockridge Report I find is always good, packed full of info for us. And ATBS on the weekends has more info then we can handle at any one time. Now Jonesey's All Night Truck Stop keep him where he is. I wish they would put Chris T and Meredith on after midnight. And put someone smart in there place.

I wish they would put Chris T and Meredith on after midnight. And put someone smart in there place. I agree 100 percent.. Wish they would let Evan Lockridge take that 3 hours...He has taught me alot about the Trucking Business.Every Driver would be so much better off if He had 5 hrs a day to teach the trucker how to work...

The problem I have with the Road Dog station,Is that they will waste 15 minutes letting ######### Soldier go on about some stuff about" HOW MANY DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS"..But when someone has a real good question or comment,They say thanks for the call we have to go to break...I hate that....
