I cook extensively in the truck -yes, the lunch box ovens work great! I've had one ever since I was a rookie and couldn't afford to eat out ;) I would reccomend the new Burton digital oven over the classic" plug and forget" ones. I found they burn if you don't stir it once in a while, but the digital one I can cook using lower temps for driving period, or higher ones if im parked and can babysit it. I cook meat, veg, pastas etc in mine with no problems. Much more versatile than just heating soup like many drivers do.

    Lady K Thanks this.

Tim, get a Max Burton "Stove To Go" from any truckstop. About $44 unless you can catch it on sale. It plugs in to a cig lighter. Go to WallyWorld and buy some tasty canned stews, soups, chowers, etc. Takes about 15 minutes to warm to 200 degrees or so. The $44 you spend will be repaid quickly!:biggrin_25525:
