What's to say-of course they are. Ever see a government agency not play with the numbers if it suited their purposes?

Of course the ATA contest a driver working less hours. God forbid a company paying us right for a normal work day.

A human is not meant to work over 8 hours a day in and day out. Cost analysis says it's okay for people to die. The ones that live get things cheaper and make more money.

Another think I heard about those numbers in the past is that they are only saying that fatigue may have had a part in the crash.
It does not specify if it is the truck driver or the 4-wheeler that was tired.
And any log violation will show up as possible fatigue in those numbers as well, including form and manner violations.
