Hey Mark, mine had the same issue. I used the same stuff I use to clean the screen on my laptop-purpose formulated for LCD screens. Can get it at Walmart, office supply outlets, BestBuy. Think the whole kit (bottle, brush and tisssues) was 10-15 bucks, maybe cheaper. It won't scratch the screen which is a good thing.

thanks,,,waiting on Pic... I can send it to the engineer so they can see if their is a issue in the factory.... Most of the screens should have just a thin plastic that is pretty much static'd on..

    Thanks,
    Mark

    bouncing around?
why would it be bouncing around?
make sure the tnd rests on your dash and your cord is loosely secured
there should be a minimum of bouncing...
Tnd 700 seems to have one of the most versatile mounts, but they should include a disk to mount it on the dash.

I guess you do not drive much in the north east where the pot holes are big enough to hide a VW in. The 700's mount does not bounce much but the cord will move up and down, which can not be good for the usb port on the unit.

    Mark,
First off your way out of line and trying to flip this on us! the consumer who purchased your product, we have, I have, we all have sent you questions and concerns regarding the issues with the unit, and to tell you the truth I dont care if you volunteer or who your beta testers are and what they have to do or dont do, really has no bearing on anything i have stated. So stop complaining and defending this unit like its the greatest thing since sliced bread. You offer no real challenging fixes based on the questions of the unit, only excuses as to why this, and why that and how hard your job is, well boo hoo!! yes I am a driver, and that has no bearing on weather I like my job or not, the route cause scenario here is WHY CANT YOU FIX THE ISSUES INSTEAD OF GIVING REDUNDANT EXCUSES WHY, that's all, plain and simple either you can fix the problems or have the courage to say, you know what man, I would prolly try a more trust worthy unit until we at Rand can get these issues resolved, is that so hard to do. Stop turning this into a "there all against me" school yard game and lets get some results. Its so common for people to auto jump to defense mode its pathetic. So first off, never ever assume anything, and 2nd just be honest and do the best you can do, if you cant fix it, or its gonna take alot of time or whatever, be honest and let us know. Thank you so much for your professional responses.:biggrin_25514:

Mark, although I like my TND700 for the most part I have run into what could be some very serious issues... I delivered out on Long Island and had to do a couple of pick ups. The unit constantly tried to route me down roads that were clearly marked no trucks(weight limits/length limits, etc) And also in Westfield, MA it tried to route me down a road that was clearly marked no heavy trucks, police will take notice.

I'm surprised that this truck GPS would do something like this. Can you help? Are they working on a solution? If you need specifics let me know, thanks.
