Rand has taken the routing in NYC and gone over it with the maps posted by NYC DOT. We do not have a dedicated driver to do NYC, but we have someone whom has their own Beta Tester whom runs NYC daily. We have given them the Next map database and they have run NYC pretty close to what is on the NYC website. Except for a few places where they change the route by the time of the day, I think it is pretty solid.

some of the most requested features are in the Beta Stage now. They may not make the next version, but should be in the version after.

I cannot list those features as they are not public yet, but some heavy coding has been going on.

What is your serial number of your TND, back, bottom right and version?

main screen\preferences\device\about?

what routing issues do you have? Details please, as I have not memorized the entire highway system of the USA and Canada.

Mark how do we get this new map database? Is it an upgrade we can get for our TND? Maybe that would solve the issue right there

Thanks Mark & Don for all the hard work you do. Bought my TND 500 from Don and it has worked perfect. The only thing that is missing so far are two Love's truck stops in CA. one at Tulare,Ca. and the other at Tehachapi,Ca. Have left both at Tell Rand.

i assume it would have to go through beta testing to make sure all the mapping is correct then it will be released in the future.

Mark I Run Long Island NY Daily Multiple Drops and Picks Ups...If You Need a Beta tester from that area shoot me an e-mail.

Mark, If you go to this site http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/motorist/trucks.shtml#routes you can get New York City truck route maps to give to Rand. You can email me your address I can send you one if you want I have a few at home.
