    My favorite truckstops would probably be Petro (just from personal experience) They always seem to be clean, and the staff has always been very friendly.

    TA did not buy the Davie Crockett. It is privately owned and franchised to TA. They are getting ready to do a big time remodel of the restaurant there. The same owners also just opened a TA Truck Service, (Shop only), on I75, exit 141.

    These are good people and good operators. They were before they flew the TA flag, and they remain that way today.

    Try the Petro 2 in Salina,Ks, it has the nicest showers you'll ever see in a truck stop.
