Made it to the other side of Knoxville and decided to shut her down for tonight. Could have made it just east of Nashville but was kinda tired so decided to call it a night were I knew parking was good and it allows me to stay off the extended night driving which is always nice.
Always amazed at some of the parking jobs I see. Got a truck next to me that is taking up two spots as he was too #### lazy to square his self away in the hole properly.

Well made it back to one of my favorite stops again just west of Knoxville, TN. Put in another 518 miles today and didn't see the need to go any further as I can't deliver until 2000 tomorrow afternoon. Plan on sleeping in a little and then stopping by the house on the way through for a couple of hours and hope to get a load heading back through the house tomorrow night as I will only be 50 or so miles away after delivering.
Traded in my light TRANE load for a nice heavy ### paper load which is always fun:)
Yep Hindsy I ain't a fan of those late night drives either. Guess I have been pretty fortunate as I haven't had to do but two over nighters in 8 months. Generally try to get her shut down no later than 2200.

Things going as planned. Stopped by the house on the way to customer for supper and requested a preplan so I would know what direction to head while getting unloaded in case it was back to through the house (45 miles down the road). Was told to just roll on back home and call in tomorrow. Still waiting to get these paper rolls off here but shouldn't be long.

Majestyk, I understand your anticipation of going past the house. I delivered last Monday evening to Wal Mart in Washington Court House, OH with a preplan to pick up a load in Beverly... With Beverly being only about 30 miles south of the house and a 2000 time to be loaded I was hoping I could get there and load and get up past the house before my 14 expired. Well the load info came and I couldn't load until morning so conveniently as I was passing the house the night according to the trusty 'ole e-logs I was down to 23 minutes drive time so it sure was nice to do the 10 hour break at the house.

####, guess I spoke too soon about heading to Canada:) Got to roll up to Dorchester, ON which doesn't seem to be too bad as I get to bypass Toronto.

Don't know how nice it will be:) Lots of podunk roads between here and there and weather ain't looking too good. There are a couple of those roads through PA that will probably be pretty #### nasty.

I live in N.Y., about 15 miles from the PA border. I usually find Pa roads in better condition than N.Y., at least here in my area. The main one I'm talking about is route 15, I worked in Pa for several years and could always figure on leaveing the snow covered road when I crossed the border lol. It would usually be a straight line across the road right next to the welcome to Pa sign.

    Drive carefull and be safe.

Thats what ya get....lol. Personally I thought Toronto was a breeze when I went through there. I love how they have their road system setup through there. U.S. should take some notes.

Where ya coming from? I'm in NY right now just 12 miles from the line. Gonna cross in the morning and deliver in Drummondville, QC. Who knows, might cross paths on my way out.
