Hey Jumbo; I absolutely agree with you that that was not right for the girl to be outside that truck. It's not so much you were reporting "the company" but the company he works for needs to know what that driver did. It's not the company's fault, it is the idiot driver that apparently doesn't have any brains in his head when it comes to the safety of children! You DON'T put a child, or any non-driver, out there like that! You did good!!

Maybe the proper thing to do was for you to get out of your truck and have the little girl get in her truck, and YOU spot for the driver. Its called "helping out".

 

you did good, many of us are in agreement..it's the mindless that post here that need to remember that a truck stop or any other location where trucks are in close proximity to each other are a danger to children being around them...
