Hey im one of those guys that run low beam and driving lights on and no, they are not brighter than the low beams, in fact they are angled down to light the road below where the low beams light the road.

I get guys b-itching about this from time to time, telling me wtf ,,,i tell them if they dont like it buy a pair of sunglasses and i wont charge them for the suntan!:biggrin_25510:

Then I guess you are one of the idiots this post was intended for! "If you dont like it buy a pair of sunglasses", typical a-hole reply.

Driving lights are just that. For driving they are supposed to only be on when low beams are on. High beams are supposed to turn driving lights off.

Fog lights are just that. For use in fog and heavy snow. Fog lights are typically yellow as it doesn't reflect back and lower visibility.

ALL lights need to be adjusted properly. Most of what these drivers are b*tching about are IMPROPERLY aimed lights. If everyone were to actually give a darn and aim their lights properly it would be fine. How many vehicles have you seen in a little bit of fog and you can see one headlight aiming for the fricking sky? THAT is where the problem is. Willing damage of someones truck or vehicle? Well, I pray you get what is coming to you, whatever that may be.

  7. Relax. It was in jest. Did you not notice the laughing smileys? We do agree. though. It's all about the adjustment. I guess there are lots of drivers that are just too lazy to aim their lights properly. I see guys with low beams that are sometimes as bright as the high beams because they are not aimed properly. Those driving lights are not only annoying when aimed too high, but they work a whole lot better aimed where they are supposed to be.

So true PT. I'm tired of the complaining that seems to go on. Yes, too many drivers are too darn lazy to give a dang. Not just company drivers either.

We have gotten in some new Freightliners and our drivers keep getting flashed by on coming traffic. They do not have the high beams on. The new truck lights are just very bright.
