T700 that would be nice! Always preferred a Kenworth over a Pete.

Yes they use speedco, petro and ta for services only if your not going to be in yard when its needed.. Truck washes (Blue Beacon), your DM has to approve it your on the road and I was told once a month, other wise they do it at the yard. Trailer washouts at the Blue beacon as well.. Your preplans depend really you have to do your part of things in order to get a preplan so you have to always keep you eta updated.. Drop and hooks happen at some locations but not all mostly the plants.. You can deadhead a ways to get a load yet again it depends on where your located. Cummins in the 387's yes... Hope that helps :)

    rickway65 Thanks this.

JBS does use speedco as well as TA. Each driver is given two truck washes a month but also has a wash out at the terminal which can be used at anytime. By submitting your projected time of arrival (PTA) your fleet manager is able to preplan you in advance. This is not always the case as sometimes you but put in an empty call. When this happens you may also qualify for a layover pay. We do some deadheading to get loads but it is paid the exact same as full loads. This company has no problem with sending a driver down the road empty to get a load versus having them sit. Got to keep the wheels turning if the company wants to remain profitable. We do see a lot of drop and hook as you move from plant to customer to plant. They do run the cummins in the 387 and will also use the cummins in their new T-700 in march. (pretty sure that last bit is accurate). Hope this helps

I am heading to orientation on the 31st. Flying me to Colorado on the 30th. Looking forward to start driving for JBS. Have talked to several drivers and they all seemed happy with the company.

Was told orientation was a week long. That is a long orientation. Does anyone know what they do for the whole week? I driven for a couple of companies and the longest one was 3 days.

Scheduled for orientation Jan 31st. Just finished reading all of the posts on this thread. I was really excited by the way DocHoliday was talking about his miles and running, etc.

I'm a little concerned about his abrupt departure from the company though. I guess maybe there was more going on with him than he shared!

From what I see from those who are there and working it looks like a good deal. I've already used the ELOGS; not bad. I liked using the system.

If anybody still working at JBS please update this thread and let us know whats going on and what to expect up there. THANKS!!!
