1st shift to 3rd shift

I had a lead driver who wanted to work 8 & 8. Our wake/sleep schedule was continually changing.

Another of my lead drivers chose to work 6 & 6. I am talking about the old HOS with split sleeper time. As second driver, I had midnight to 6 a.m. That was tough for me. I lasted only one year before taking a local job that also started at midnight, but I slept at home.

 

You drive for 11 hrs or on duty for 14 sleep 10 then do it all over again trying to figure out how to make it on time say you start at 7 am your done at 9 pm weather you want to be or not law thing you start the next day at 7am but if. Your del ant till let's say 9am then you start at 9 drive till out of hrs again now its 11pm I hate driving between 3am to 6am I should be asleep during that time and most of my runs are under 700 miles so next day del and I still find my self running those hrs
