You just described the image I saw. Smurfette was facing to the right on Facebook. Her name was Teresa I think. LOL
I think I might have passed crazy about 3 exits ago! Lol

 

Well I had quite the night last night. First let me back up, I work nights, so for the past week I have been on the phone all night with my friend, she works for a small "outlaw" company, and they are making her run team loads solo, on top of that her truck sucked, it kept stalling (autoshift, kept going into the wrong gears at the wrong time) which ate up a lot of time. (she said she had to buy 8 logbooks in the course of the week)

Anyway For the past week, I have talked to her all night to help her stay awake, I have been so concerend for her safety I almost lost mine.

I had made all but one of my store deliveries and had just gotten off the interstate, I could see my last store, now mind you the weather was icing, but the interstate was smooth running no problem. Going down the hill after I made the left at the end of the ramp, I almost lost it 3 times, I was only going 10mph, I hit that ice the tractor went one way, the trailer went the other, hit the clutch to get the drives from pulling, counter steer to put the tractor back in front of the nose of the trailer, had to do this 3 times in less than 1/4 mile.

Made my last delivery and SHUT THE F DOWN

Anyway, BE VERY VERY CAREFULL just because you are going slow doesn't mean you are going slow enough.

But my friend got a different truck that runs much better, and she has the night off tonight, I made sure she was going to be and get some much much much needed sleep. I don't advocate anyone doing what she had been doing, but she got through it. Anyway say a prayer for her and everyone else to stay safe out there

Me too, it's pretty bad when the only sleep she was getting was while she was getting loaded or unloaded

So I leave on the 29th for Salt Lake City for school. Any advice would be greatly appriciated.
