Well I finally finished with the stupid WIA process.... Took over 3 months. I will be starting school Feb 3, and I already have my orientation scheduled for March 28th. The school is 7 weeks long, and I will be heading to orientation the Monday after graduation, so hopefully I dont screw anything up. The 4 week school that I was wanting to go to didn't have all of their paperwork in order with the WIA administrators in my county so I wasn't able to go their, that kind of bummed me out, but ohh well.... Maybe the extra 3 weeks will do me some good. No more time behind the wheel, this school just does 4 hours a day after the first week so it takes longer. Anyways I hope to see you guys out there soon. Drive safe.

Congrats, now the stuff is about to hit the fan, my school was 4 hours a night and it lasted 8 weeks, if you have a CDL manual get in it and start just reading up on it, the school will go fast once they break the cover of that manual, if you are anything like me it sinks in better the second time I read it. Good luck welcome to the family, W/S is a great place to be. If you need anything or need to borrow any
$$ Ask AT he is loaded
no if you need anything give any of us a shout here and we will try to answer it, if we can't answer it, AT can, he is the 21 year old Super American Trucker and is doing a kick butt job here, I'm very impressed with the micro man.
American-Trucker and SmartDriver Thank this. -
Well I already have my Class B license. A lot of the testing is the same on paper, at least here in Cali. I have been re-reading up on the pretrip though. I will probably go over that another 20 times or so before I even start school. Having worked for two different transit agencies I know how important that portion of the testing is. Anyways......
Thanks Guys and see you soon!!!!

Hey and vone more thing, I dont know where you are from but if there is an Airline that will fly into Missoula from where you are I would hhighly suggest it, they will reimburse you the amount of the bus ticket towards your flight and then you don't have to ride the dog with fleas and all those kinds of characters.. and if you get it early enough it may be cheaper then a bus ticket.
-
Yeah I have already checked.... The airline ticket is about 30 dollars more than the bus ticket. I think I can swing that... -
Congrats on getting through the wia process! I hope to hear from them on Monday so I can start school next Thursday. Maybe we will be at the same w&s orientation.
-
Well sooooo..... I finally have all the stuff completed and orientation scheduled for the March 28th!!!!! I went and did the HPE/Drug Screen this morning. The HPE was a piece of cake and I am not worried at all about the drug screen. I have my plane ticket booked, and the itenerary sent to W&S.
Now the #### school is having a hard time getting the tests scheduled during the parameters of the scheduled school dates. Everyone in the last two classes has had to take their tests after their graduation dates. This is starting to piss me off, as I was told that my appointment was already set before I booked my tickets. So I am going to go in tomorrow to verify the appointment again. If I get told something different, then I am going to request the school pay reimburse me the rescheduling fee.
So I am crossing my fingers and hoping that everything works out. I hope to see you all out there soon!!
