Clearly the driver saw the sign, and also saw the lowered clearance on the sides. He took the truck thru the middle. He shouldnt have gotten stuck. The sign is misleading and needs to be changed. Like someone else commented, they probably repaved the road and didnt adjust the sign. The officials also need to have two signs posted, one showing the high clearance and one showing low clearance.
5 trucks getting stuck there every week is ridiculous and negligent on the part of city officials.

I read the feeds on the artical and a fella that works next to that bridge says it is the cities fault due to the fact they resurfaced the road and never changed the sign it is actully a 13-2 bridge

No they weren't....

Ya know..all these trucks getting stuck under this bridge and yet the town doesn't do anything about posting warning signs or perhaps re-measuring the bridge if the road was resurfaced.

Someone should go out and measure the clearance then sue the city to have it fixed! Easy lawsuit!
