Mid America Truck Show

Now I'm nervous we won't be able to find somewhere to stay. This will be our first year at the show. We are bringing tents just in case.

 

Actually you should still be able to find a place to stay, although it may be at a more upscale hotel. In 08 we decided at the last minute to co-exhibit in a vendors booth and I wound up staying at the Residence Inn splitting a two bedroom with my business partner.

Alright, know this is a older thread but......Who is going to MATS this year? I'm looking forward to going again!

 

My father and I go every year (it's only a 4 hour drive from the house) and we love it.

I suggest going Thursday and Friday. Saturday is WAY too crowded and a mad house. We usually pic Thursday as the day we go thru the vendors and friday as our day for the truck/trailer manufacturers wing and the show trucks. We also stay about 30 miles north at a hotel as the price is much cheaper and not booked up.

 

I wish I could go, it always falls on the same week that I have to load and head for Wrestlemania.

 

I'll be there again with the truck out front in the Rotary Lift booth.
This will be my 31st year in attending.

 

I've been big into trade shows and such in the past but this will be the first time to a show this size and first time in the trucking industry. We'll be exhibiting so may run into some of you guys without knowing! I'm really looking forward to being able to see all the new pretty trucks and trailers up close and in person!
