    toledo ,oh. just went to a level 3 snow emergency, napoleon,oh is at a level 2 .

    You should have seen the roads last night...

    oh wait, never mind... you COULDN'T see the roads. That's how bad it was.

    I pulled off at the first opportunity, but the Flying Hook parking lot was a skating rink by the time I got there. Actually I was lucky to find a slot at all...

    I guess something good came out of this after all...

    Just tonight I was given a Conway load to pull up that way. When I went to hook up to it the Conway clerk told me that the load was cancelled; the destination terminal was shut down due to the weather, and he "had no idea how I managed to get the first load delivered" with the road conditions from last night (to tell you the truth, neither do I...) Dispatch ended up giving me another assignment from western KY that delivers barely 40 minutes from my house. Just in time to park it and watch the Super Bowl from the comfort of my living room :)
